Last Tuesday it was "National Diversity Day" in the Netherlands. Therefore we would like to organise a special "Cultural lunch", to celebrate diversity at HelloFresh together with all office teams on both production locations. This event will take place on the 18th of October.
How does this "Cultural lunch" look like? Every person who attends the lunch brings a nice dish or snack from their own culture. It would be really nice if we can share food and stories with eachother!

"Since the first of August i am warehouse Operations manager, which means i am responable for Expedition, Material Planning and internal logistics team (Inbound, outbound, preparing and splitter)"

"I really like to get involved with different internal teams. this makes every day different and divers. Next to that, I really like to work and think about improvements within the company."

"It is a great honour to be the employee of the month ! I just don't do anything special other than just my job. But appreciate that my work is appreciated."

In the beginning of the year we asked for your feedback in our benefits survey. While quite some changes have been made already based on your feedback, a few more are coming your way and here is your update on these:
We are almost ready to launch our new bike leaseplan, we are working together on this with Van Mossel, Hellorider and Liemers Fietsen
We have set up a subscription with ClassPass, where you subscribe through your HelloFresh email, get extra credits compared to the normal subscription and pay via your salary
End of this month we are launching our partnership with High Five Fitness Network where you can get a gym membership, pay via your salary and we have an extra discount with BasicFit, meaning you could work out whenever you want for as little as €13 a month!
The gym memberships will launch first in Bleiswijk with some nice events focused on health!
So keep an eye out for the launch emails, because a lot is coming your way!

HEALTH WEEK - At HelloFresh, we care about the health of our employees. Without you, HelloFresh would not be able to pack the HelloFresh boxes for our customers. To highlight the topic "health" a little more we organize a "Health Week" in week 43 (24-10 to 29-10) at both our DC's.
In this week, everything is about health and vitality. We will introduce our new partnership with High Five Fitness Network/Basic Fit, provide healthy lunches, organise fun and mindful master classes and many other extras: expect some competitiveness as well... Later more. Next week we will share our agenda for these days, but already keep this week in mind and in your agendas!
Safety & hygiene walks (GMP rounds) The goal of these walks is to check each area of our DC's on deviations from our standard. The standard in this case is based on our own values/ norms, requirements from auditing bodies, and laws/ regulations. By checking on deviations from this standard weekly we can spot risks early on, prevent/limit problems from occurring, secure our standard and improve.
The safety & hygiene walks are done bi-weekly by rotating teams of three, consisting of someone from the office, someone from production/ inbound and someone from facility management/ FSQA.
Last Friday the walk was conducted at the location Prismalaan. Top 3 findings: Not everyone wears hairnets, several loose products at the storage racks and dangerously stacked pallets This week David, Dan, Iris, Ibtissam Kamilla and Lisa, will conduct the round at the location Klappolder. Hairnets: Everyone entering the production hall is obligated to wear a hairnet.
How to wear a hairnet: All hair should be covered including the fringe, side areas and back of head. Make sure that there is no hair visible outside of the hairnet .
