Introduction
We start this week with a short update about GreenChef. Looking back at the first month, we have a few highlights to share, which we are really proud off:
1) we've passed the border of 1500 boxes
2) we've been published in several magazines (https://foodini.nl/inspiratie/green-chef-de-maaltijdbox-voor-alle-levensstijlen/)
3) the GC app went live
4) we need two trucks to take all GC boxes from KP to PW
5) about 50% of all customers are new each week

This week was calm if it comes to errors. The only thing is that there was a sudden shortage of Hollandaise sauce at the Prismalaan.
Yesterday the Polo's have been returned to the lease company. Tomorrow we will get 2 new cars. They are all Volkswaren ID3. We already have one ID3 at the Prismalaan. These cars are electric and need to be charged after using it.
These cars does not have the moovesharing. You can pick up the keys at the reception desk. If you want to reserve the car, you can send an email to reception.bleiswijk@hellofresh.nl. They can see in the agenda if the car is available at the time.

DID YOU KNOW....
a new pager system
At the Klappolder we started with a test for outbound. What you see is a beeper systeem. You may know this from restaurants. When you need to wait for a table or food, you will get a pager with you. Then you can walk around while waiting. When the pieper goes off you know that there is a table or food ready for you.
With this test we want to do the same. The driver will get this pager when he arrives at the Klappolder. The number on this pager represent the dock where he should load or unload. When the outbound team finished, the beeper goes off and the driver can come to the outbound office to collect their paperwork and go the the hub to deliver the boxes!
This test ends next week.
Safety & hygiene walks (GMP rounds)
The goal of these walks is to check each area of our DC's on deviations from our standard. The standard in this case is based on our own values/ norms, requirements from auditing bodies, and laws/ regulations. By checking on deviations from this standard weekly we can spot risks early on, prevent/limit problems from occurring, secure our standard and improve. The safety & hygiene walks are done bi-weekly by rotating teams of three, consisting of someone from the office, someone from production/ inbound and someone from facility management/ FSQA.
Last Friday the walk was conducted at the location Klappolder.
Top 3 findings: Fire extinguishers blocked, blocked walking path, wrong storage of (broken) pallets.
This week Renee, Rianne, Viktor, Mattheus and Tim will conduct the round at the location Prismalaan.
