Last week, 15 September 2022, we hosted the Food Safety Summit and welcomed 28 Food Safety colleagues from all over the world. It went very well. The best comment we've got: 'it's not fair, you have it so easy with such amazing employees'.

Below errors are not production related but did have a big impact
In week 37 the smell of blue cheese filled our entire Klappolder warehouse. When we measured the temperature we knew the temperature was not right, which is why we couldn't use the cheese for production. Besides that we had a big shortage of wortelbroodjes at the Prismalaan

Exciting news in regards to our Klappolder office: We are almost ready with the refurbishment of our Klappolder office space! As most of you might know, we have decided to extend our stay in our Klappolder DC for a longer period of time - which is why we decided to spice up the HelloFresh Look & Feel with some additional color. In essence, we divided the big office space, added additional break areas, and upcoming weeks the builder will install a small kitchen and renew the carpet. We are already very happy with the result, thus, would you like to see it with your own eyes? Check AppjePlekje for a spot!
This week they will do the floors and light. Later they will be back for the kitchen and some more plants. So more fun stuff is coming!

How long do you work at HelloFresh?
I started working at HF IN 2019
What do you do at HelloFresh?
I am a member in OPS team in Bleiswijk. Along with two other team members we make sure that all the labels and Stickers (lots of them) are ready, and good to be sent to the production floor. In addition to that, we are also taking care of numerous other pre-production tasks.
What do you like the most about HelloFresh?
What i like about HelloFresh is that it makes sure that her Customers are getting good quality food. We have a large number of customers at HelloFresh and in my opinion the food we sell to our customers helps our customers feel healthy and happy which is in its turn a great deal. Healthy Customers Healthy Soceity - Everybody happy!
What do you do in your spare time?
In my leisure time i definitely like to go to the gym if i have the energy for it, i read (books) or since i am very much InfoSec enthusiast, i use that time to learn something about cyber security.

Safety and Hygiene walk
Safety and Hygiene walk
Safety & hygiene walks (GMP rounds)
The safety & hygiene walks are done bi-weekly by rotating teams of three, consisting of someone from the office, someone from production/ inbound and someone from facility management/ FSQA. The goal of these walks is to check each area of our DC's on deviations from our standard. By checking on deviations from this standard weekly we can spot risks early on, prevent/limit problems from occurring, secure our standard and improve.
Last Friday the walk was conducted at the location Prismalaan.
Score: 77%
Top 3 findings: Not everyone wears hairnets, beardnets and gloves, EPT was used incorrectly, dirty and damaged long-term stock.
