Health & safety updates
SAFETY ALERT - Moving picnic tables
There have been several times when the picnic tables have moved past the flowerpots on the terrace. The reason for placing the flowerpots was to protect the terrace and thereby the seating area of employees from the truck traffic on the dockyard. This week, two picnic tables were encountered as shown in the Safety Alert. This is an example of a very dangerous situation. Please do not move the picnic tables behind the flower pots on the dockyard, for your safety and that of your colleagues!
Do you see a picnic table in the wrong place? Please speak to the employees sitting there, move the picnic table back behind the flower pots, and make an HSE report in Ultimo. Thanks in advance!
For your information: Facility is arranging sunscreens to create more shade on the terrace.
The first group of BHV+ trained
Yesterday our first group of the BHV+ team completed their full training. It was a fun and informative day for all! You can check out the pictures to get a little impression.
.
In preparation for this day, they all had to pass an E-learning to learn the theory behind BHV tasks. Then it was time to practice their knowledge. With the BHV trainer, they walked through our DC to learn more about evacuating the building in case of an emergency. In the afternoon, they were joined by a LOTUS victim. This is a person who can portray illnesses and injuries life-like, so they could properly practice their first aid skills. The day ended with practicing CPR. Now they know how to act during different kinds of emergencies that can occur in our DC and therefore contribute to our safety!

Health & Safety Week: September 23-29 💚
We are excited to announce the upcoming Health & Safety Week, which will take place from September 23 to 29. This week is dedicated to vitality and health, aiming not only to raise awareness but also to increase engagement through fun and connecting activities.
Monday: Kick-off with 'Larry the Lime Safety Quiz' and Lifting Workshop. The lifting workshop is specially designed for our frontline employees, but if you work in the office and are also interested, you can sign up via this link.
Tuesday: Chair Massage (office only) and Healthy Snack. You can sign up and choose a time slot via this link. Please be present at your chosen time, as slots are limited! Additionally, a healthy snack will be available that day for both office and frontline employees.
Wednesday: Healthy Nutrition Workshop and Soccer Competition. The workshop runs from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and you can sign up via this link. In the afternoon, an exciting soccer competition is scheduled! You can still sign up as a supporter or team until August 30.
Thursday: First Aid Training (for our new first aid team)
Friday: Health Fair. This will be set up in the downstairs canteen. What can you expect?
Pull a tip from the 'Tiptornado', test your balance at the 'Clear-Headed Hammer', take a photo in the bumper car, see how far you can pedal after eating a portion of fries, and try your luck at winning prizes with the vitality machine.
We look forward to spending a week full of health, vitality, and fun with you all.
Strategy Session 2025 - 2027
We are thrilled to invite you to a special Strategy Session where we will launch our HelloFresh BNL Strategy 2025-2027! Normally our Strategy Sessions are all about targets and projects for that year, but this time we will take a more long term view and share our plans towards 2027. More specifically, we will present our overall ambition and the strategic goals for the various business domains. This will be the beginning of our collective journey to build HelloFresh's future, therefore we hope to see you all!
