Timemanagement training - Thursday, August 17th
Learn how to manage your time effectively in order to get things done in a time-efficient way. We'll share practical tips and tricks, as well as insights into your current work style and time management.
OpEx Maturity Assessment - 27 & 28 July 2023
On the 27th and 28th of July, there will be the second OpEx maturity assessment conducted by the OpEx international team.
Last assessment was in December where we scored 1.24 out of 4 and we decided to include this in our OKR this year with a goal to reach above 2 by the end of the year.
What is it ?
The assessment has the goal to identify our maturity regarding the different Opex ''pillars'' defined in the target operating model which is a framework developed by OpEx international that codifies essential building blocks required to achieve operational excellence.
Why should we develop further our maturity ?
Being more mature in Operational Excellence has the following benefits :
- Standardize and control processes and allow us to go to the next level regarding efficiency and errors
- Structural communication and involvement of the operations to improve the engagement and think together to solutions which enable people to contribute to their full potential
- Steer and manage our operations (f.e by creating more visibility regarding performance) to be more preventive than reactive and focus on long term actions rather than patching the issue and make sure we are doing the right things.
Want to know more ? The Production Opex team is a team of 5 passionate people regarding these topics, so feel free to reach out!
On Tuesday morning and Wednesday afternoon, Opex International organized a virtual opex community summit where more than 40 Opex talent have gathered and listened to some presentation from other market on key topics such as errors and productivity.

Did you already downloaded the Ultimo GO+ App?
No?
Do it quickly because this App makes it super easy to create reports for our Facility & Maintenance department!
Together with the QR codes you now see appearing at rooms, installations and inventory items, you can now make a notification super quick and easy so you can get back to your own work as soon as possible. In addition, the Facility & Maintenance team is also going to forward you to Ultimo so that we receive our work at 1 central point and therefore can resolve reports even faster.
If you're not sure about where to register your report, you can find the procedure for mobile phones HERE and for computers HERE.
Summertime is here! After a long workday, it's very important to take some time to relax. Do you also want to close your workday with a chill? Stay tuned!
This summer, Cathelijne is happy to share her summer chill checklist with us. So all summer long, you will find this fun column with a new tip every week.
Mainly because she is thrilled to share all of her tips with you, and of course we are happy to learn some more about Cathelijne and expand our horizon of interests.
New week, new summer tip!
To compensate for the fact that you might have acted as a couch potato while watching B&B vol liefde since my tip from last week, I would now like to invite you to go for a walk or bike ride outside!
Only a 10 min drive from Prismalaan, you can find the restaurant Meerenbos at de Rotte. It's a great spot for a cup of coffee, or maybe a little beer in the sun, after a nice walk or ride around de Rotte! One thing that you should definitely try from the menu is their so-called dadelgebak. A treat made from cookies, dates and grated coconut!
It's not only a nice area for a walk, but a Rondje Rotte is also a nice cycling route. It's about 25km where you drive along the water and can enjoy the beautiful view.
For all parents reading this; there is also a Kabouterbos next to Meerenbos, so also a great tip to take your children there on a sunny morning.
Enjoy!
