Health & Safety updates
Safety when walking behind racks
FM and FSQA employees walk behind racks and pallets in the fust hall regularly, such as during pest rounds.
Several people have expressed concerns about safety during these rounds. Therefore, It was decided that the racks would be closed to all traffic during the rounds.
This will be done by putting up bollards.
When the round begins the bollards will be placed, when the section in question has been checked the bollards will be removed again.
It is forbidden to ignore or remove these bollards, together we make the DC a safer workplace!

Promotions!

Wiebe (Jr. Professional - Mid level Professional)
Wiebe started his HF journey as Senior Facility Medewerker at the Klappolder site, after the merge he came to Prismalaan to continue his work here. During this period, he has quickly made himself visible within the organization. He has a real hands-on mentality, always willing to take on tasks outside his role to give the best service towards Production. His commitment and his motivation to improve and develop makes him a colleague who deep dives in his work and projects. For example the project of work-clothing improvement he is currently working on and his commitment to our BHV team as Head of BHV. Due this performance, Wiebe has been promoted from Junior Professional to Mid-Level Professional.
Danny (Jr. Professional - Mid level Professional)
In recent months, waste management has become a focal point for many HF organisations, and our BeNeLux is no exception. Leading the charge in this vital area is Danny, who has been working tirelessly over the past year to improve our waste processes. His efforts have resulted in achieving a HF global renowned benchmark of just 0.10 cents physical waste per box, positioning us to reach our OKRs by year-end. Danny's collaboration with OPSBI has been instrumental in enhancing our data dashboards, providing a broader and deeper understanding of our waste metrics. Through innovative projects such as SILO and Rolloflow, he has demonstrated significant improvements in our waste management processes.
Danny has worked closely with internal transport, operational excellence, and various other departments to achieve his goals. Due to his exceptional performance last year and his commitment to personal development, Danny has been promoted from Junior to Mid-level Professional within the Material Planning Department.
Ruben (Supervisor -Team Lead)
Over the past year, Ruben has been a key force in the launch of Factor within the Benelux team. With his proactive, can-do mentality and data-driven approach, he successfully brought various stakeholders together and convinced others that our current production method for FACTOR was the right path. Ruben has grown into a strong operational leader, where he also works on cross market projects with the international team, and I am pleased to announce his promotion to Team Lead.
Tim (Jr. Professional - Mid level Professional)
In the past year, Tim has truly taken ownership of the technical planning aspect. He is a person people like to work with, brings structure to his work, and effectively manages various continuous improvement projects. Eager to learn, Tim has shown significant development in recent months. I am pleased to announce that Tim will be promoted to Mid-Level Professional.
