As you might know, we're currently running the 'Own your Development' Campaign. This week we're focusing on Personal Development and facilitating two different PDP workshops. We highly recommend all (new) Team Leads sign up for the manager workshop on Thursday (11-12, in person) or Friday (10-11, virtual). In this workshop, we'll focus on how you can best support your team in their development.
If you need a detailed explanation of the new PDP template, you're welcome to join the employee workshop tomorrow at 11 am (virtual). If you think your team would benefit from this workshop, please encourage them to sign up as well.
Next week we're focusing on career development and have an exciting Panel Discussion scheduled. See more information here.
As a follow-up for the campaign, we offer a 30-minute 1 on 1 career development chat with one of our leaders. Check out this website for an overview of all leaders and make sure to communicate this to your team. It's a great opportunity for employees to ask questions and get advice on their career development. The deadline to sign up is 30 June and the chats take place in July. Sign up via this form.
Please let HR know if you have any questions!
Did you join our Goodbye Klappolder party last Wednesday?
No? You really missed something!
Yes? We hope you had fun!
It was a huge event, with a rodeo bull, a shooting gallery, a Volkswagen-photobooth, a lasergame area and a lot of food and drinks.
And besides that, there was a great dj, a lighted dancefloor and speeches from Lisa and Rafal.
Here you can find the first look at the photo's. Soon we'll share more with you.
In recent weeks we have had a number of interesting aggression training sessions that we would like to share with you! They were dynamic and educational experiences for all participants, gaining valuable insights and developing skills to effectively deal with aggressive situations in the workplace.
Each training started with an inspiring introduction in which the participants became aware of the different forms of aggression they can encounter in and around our DC. From expressing frustration all the way to physical confrontations, the participants have learned how to control their own emotions and respond professionally to challenging situations.
One of the features of this training are the interactive conversations in which everyone learns to use practical techniques to de-escalate aggression. Everyone was encouraged to show empathy, actively listen, and recognize nonverbal cues so they can respond quickly and calm the situation before it gets out of hand.
During the training, everyone was also encouraged to communicate with each other and share their experiences. This created a safe and supportive environment in which all participants could learn from each other and discover new perspectives. It was great to see how everyone was involved and open to exchanging ideas.
As an organization, we are committed to creating a safe and respectful work environment for all our employees. This professional aggression training should help us to strengthen this objective and increase our awareness about how to deal with aggression. We are convinced that the knowledge and skills gained will enable everyone to respond to difficult situations with confidence and
resilience. So if you have received an invitation, we encourage you to attend the training.
Finally, we want to encourage everyone to put the acquired knowledge and skills into practice and to support each other in handling aggressive situations. Let's work together to create positive change and foster a work environment where everyone can feel safe.
Next week, these colleagues celebrate their birthday! Let's congratulate them!
