It's this time of the year:
DC Compliance audit coming up!
Monday 15-05-2023 and Tuesday 16-05-2023 the Food safety and HSE audit will take place at the DC Prismalaan.
What does this mean?
During the audit an auditor will inspect our written down documentation and verify if we have all documents and procedures in place. Followed by a tour of the DC to make sure that everyone is following the written documentation and procedures.
How can you support us?
Follow the rules, inform your colleagues, flag possible non-conformities to your team lead.
What is our target?
Last fall both HSE and Food safety reached a Level 1 audit score. This is great!
Our aim is to keep the Level 1 audit score.
Don't forget:
This Sunday (May 14th) is Mother's Day
Time for breakfast in bed, presents, cards and much more!
Wednesday 17th of May is the day, we will get the office at Prismalaan all ready for the merge!
This means that furniture will be moved from location Klappolder to Prismalaan. This may cause some slight inconvenience for both locations as we are working hard to get 12 extra workstations ready for use, among other things.
At Klappolder, our colleagues are already busy packing up their personal belongings, Please give them a warm welcome when they start to work on Prismalaan!
As production is not yet ready for merge, this move will take place later.
For those colleagues still working at Klappolder during this period, we will make sure that the removed furniture needed for daily business is replaced with temporary alternatives. So work can still be done properly at Klappolder until the merge is complete!
Yesterday we had a successful brainstorm meeting organized by Linda, Teamlead of the material planning team.
The goal was to get the team involved in thinking about the new structure and practices once we are merged, we want to involve the team as much as possible in the changes that are coming. Besides exchanging ideas, we also talked about the expectation what they have of each other and what the team expects from the management team.
We heard some good ideas that we will definitely work on together! We cant wait to finally be one big FreshFamily.
Let the countdown begin - 20 days to go !
We will say goodbye to our Klappolder location and together with you, we want to
throw a BIG FAREWELL PARTY on
the 21st of June
to the building where we have worked hard for the past years! We really hope that as many people as possible will come!

Here's another update regarding Ultimo. With a big thanks to the global IT department, we now have a more memorable URL which sends you to the report system. So, if you have a question, request or something to report:
Furthermore, in the upcoming weeks we are going to stick new QR labels on most of our equipment and inventory. With the merge happening soon, these labels will make sure we won't confuse all of our equipment and inventory items whilst making a report. This will also make it easier for everyone to create reports, because you don't have to spend a lot of time filling out all of the boxes.
