My name is Mitchell Sluijter and I joined HelloFresh just over a month ago. I'm currently working as a working student in the Facility Management Team in Bleiswijk and my main job is to update and implement the Ultimo facility management system within our DC at Prismalaan West. My main goal is to create awareness of Ultimo and for everyone to use it when necessary.

Ultimo is created for all of your questions, requests and reports regarding Facility Management and Technical Issues, but it is also possible to report incidents or observations which will be taken up by HSE. By using just one system, it is more clear for all of us what issues we need to solve or requests we need to fulfill. Of course, if there is an urgent matter, it is important to know that we'd rather want you to give FM or TD a call.

During my time here, I have already made a few changes to the system. First of all, I updated all of the information regarding our technical installations and our inventory, so that we have all of the information if a report is made and that you are able to give us all of the information we need without extra effort! I've also been in contact with our Ultimo expert to make a few changes within the system, to make it easier for the users to to make reports online. Maybe you have seen a few changes already while making a report!

Visit the Nordics

Look, we found an old friend!

Last week Sander Hoogerbrugge and Rafal Szarek together with production employees visited our Swedish colleagues in their new facility in Bjuv. A number of our employees will soon move there to further develop and support our Swedish colleagues. They were very impressed with the facility itself. The modern large hall was impressive. They were given a tour of the entire facility and were able to work in both kitting and production. After working on the production line for a few hours, they exchanged any insights that came to mind. It was a great experience for us and our employees to see how our Scandinavian colleagues were doing. After the visit to Bjuv, we took a tour of the city of Helsingborg and a well-deserved lunch. We thank Viktor Pallua, Sean Lawe, Thomas Weihe Kjaergaard and Johan Hallin for a pleasant stay, a warm welcome and a tour of the company, as well as all the activities planned for us.

1 of our OKR's is: '1.4 Actively contribute to standardization efforts by sharing best-in-class BNL initiatives to other geographies and import best practices to improve group and BNL AEBITDA'

So by sharing our ideas and processes we contribute to this OKR.

Tour the Fresh

Past Saturday two of our production colleagues participated in the "tour de Fresh" or "ronde van Noord Holland". A 160km cycling tour organized by Marissa from the FSQA team. Together with colleagues from procurement and FSQA they battled against wind and rain (but mostly actually quite nice weather) to reach the finish line.

It was a great event and a fantastic teambuilding-experience between different HF teams and locations. Luckily all HF cyclists reached the end without incidents.

Rumours say that Dan Butler got scouted by Jumbo-Visma. So who knows... maybe you'll see him back in the Tour de France this summer ;-)

Next time we hope to find even more of you in the green HF jersey at the start.
