Errors
The production error rate has been holding steady at around 2% for the regular box: ~1.5% from the kitting lines and ~0.5% from mealkit consolidation. An additional ~0.1% is attributed to MAO (add-ons). This rate is quite low, partly because errors are usually related to shortages, and we inform each customer if there is a shortage with a flyer in their box. Lately we have had some technical issues doing accurate bulk uploads (compensations) for kits/bundles, however. The good news is, this week we started using a new script that solves this problem completely. Hopefully it improves the error rate even more.
Please take in mind - the error rate is 2 weeks behind

Tomorrow, 15 september, Bleiswijk will host a Food safety summit. This means that all our HelloFresh Food Safety specialists all over the world will come to Bleiswijk to see our DC. Of course we want to present our DC in the best way possible.
In the morning, between 10 and 12, we'll be giving tours in groups of 5. Please make sure you're working as usual, so be safe, stick to the house rules, wear your hair nets, beardnets/ gloves/ overcoats, and keep your workplace clean. Thanks!

We have started testing the new Automated Vehicle Restraint (AVR) system at the Prismalaan on dock number 9. This system will prevent uncontrolled driveaway by an automated magnetical system using traffic lights. It will ensure there is no room for human error, so we prevent any incidents with loading and unloading the trucks, as we unfortunately had those before.
The coming two weeks will be used to see if the system works and if there are any improvements required. In case the test is successfull, the AVR system will be installed on all docks at both the Prismalaan as on the Klappolder DC.
