Please check your child's backpack. They should be coming home with classplacement letters for next school year.
5th Graders are getting their Middle School Team placement letters in their backpacks tonight too.
Tomorrow at 8:30 we will have a step-up day for K-4. 5th grade has Middle School step up at 9:30 tomorrow.

A huge shout out to Katie Mann and her family, our garden coodrinator, for all their hard work this year. Check out these amazing stats from our WRS community in our garden!
30 hours from 8 families through our 3 community work days
20 hours by 7 community members through community work days
10 hours of working with classes- (7 in class and 3 prep- the 7 in class are in the log book)
~7 hours leading classes through labyrinth trainings (~6 hours: 5.5 in class and 1.5 prep) - the 5.5 are logged in the sign in book
30 hours- Jason & me additional weekend work

Frolick in the Forest
Frolick in the Forest
This Saturday, 6/8 from 10am-11am the Hartford Conservation Commission will have our next Family Forest Frolic in the Hartford Town Forest. This family-focused event is a stroll through the forest at a pace to look under logs, examine flowers, and find other cool features in our forest.
Last month we saw some Two Lined Salamanders and some really cool fungi and wildflowers! This time we are teaming up with Quechee Library to do a story walk around the reservoir and ending in a pine grove. The story for this month is “The Lumberjack's Beard.” It will be up in the Forest until July. Plan on bringing: snacks, sunscreen/bug spray, water, and appropriate weather gear. Hopefully the rain holds out on us!
