Reminder: WRS Open House & Spring Concert TONIGHT!!!!
** Please note: Masks are required indoors for all people. Masks are optional outdoors.

Schedule of Events:
4:30-5:30 Dinner (pick up in cafeteria, eat outside)
**Don't forget to bring some cash for the PTA 50/50 and Popcorn fundraisers.
5:15-5:45 Open House (masks must be worn indoors)
5:45-6:00 Move to the playground field (Bring your own chair)
6:00-7:00 Spring Concert
Students should wear their concert best with outdoor-appropriate footwear. Since our concert theme is colors, all performers are encouraged to wear either a solid color shirt or a colorful outfit if possible.
Audience members will be in the field and are welcome to bring blankets and/or camp chairs to make your experience more comfortable.

See the flier below for all the great reading programs happening at the public library in town this summer!
Hartford High School French and Spanish students came to visit our 3rd grade classes on 5/6 and 5/13. French students taught us how to say our name, age and favorite color. They read us stories they wrote about all different types of animals. We practiced our Spanish with the HS Spanish students and played a very exciting game of "pato, pato, ganzo" (duck, duck, goose). They also shared their original stories and helped 3rd graders notice how stories are written in the past tense. We had two beautiful days of fun in the sun and we hope to repeat this experience next year.
