Last Review of the Year!

The 2022-2023 school year is pretty much in the books. What an amazing year it has been!  On behalf of the staff of White River School, I want to extend our gratitude for all you have done this year to help make our school community great.   We calculated over 440 hours of volunteer service from parents and families during school hours!  Our PTA stepped up big time this year with a fantastic teacher appreciation week and many fun community events like Pi Night.  We revived our tradition of the Thanksgiving Feast, returned to Boston, and started our first-ever Winter Sports Program.  We added our second full-day PreK classroom, and our average daily attendance rose to 91% this year as we continued to see academic gains across the grades.  We intend to celebrate this week and go into summer feeling thankful and hopeful for next year.  Have a safe and happy summer!

Field Day- Wednesday, June 14th

WRS will have Field Day on Wednesday of this week.

Please note that we have several water events, and your child will most likely get wet. Please send them in clothes and footwear that you do not mind them getting wet.   It is helpful to send in a towel, but we will be playing right up to the car/bus ride home, so there is no need for extra clothes.

 We will continue to play even in the rain (for lightning, we will come inside until the danger has passed).
