We hope you all have a wonderful February break. We have no school next week.
The agency of education, within the last few minutes, has asked that we provide antigen tests to anyone who wants one to test over break. You can stop by the school up until 4 today. I'll also be in the office on Tuesday if you want to pop in then for a test. See below for the official word:
Hello Families,
The Vermont Agency of Education has provided us with one COVID antigen test kit per student to be used prior to returning to school after February break. This is much like the testing initiative that occurred prior to our return in January. Testing is voluntary and students can return to school on Monday, the 21st, regardless of whether or not they test prior. If you choose to have your child tested prior to returning to school, please do both tests in the kit at least 24hrs apart. You are encouraged to test them on Saturday (2/19/22) and Sunday (2/20/22). If a test is positive, please keep your child home and notify their school nurse.
INSERT DELIVERY/PICK UP INSTRUCTIONS
As a reminder, a student who has any symptoms that could be related to COVID must stay home. They can return to school with 2 negative antigen tests or a negative PCR test result when symptoms have resolved/significantly improved and they are fever free without the use of fever reducing medications for 24 hours.
I hope you all enjoy a safe and fun winter break.
