Parent Teacher Conferences-- Early Release Etc.

Please note:

Thursday, November 3rd is an early release:
- - - All dismissals are 2 hours earlier
      - PreK Pick up is at 12:30.
        K-5 Dismissal is 12:45.
Friday, November 4th there will be no school.
- - - There is no school on Friday due to parent-teacher conferences.

If you have not done so already make sure you have scheduled your meeting with your child's teacher!

Fall garden clean up:

Calling volunteers for a morning of raking, shoveling, and other maintenance tasks in the back garden, this Saturday, Nov 5th 9am-12pm.

Bring water, work gloves, and a rake if you have one

We have a lot of leaves and years of accumulated yard waste to load and haul to the dump. If you have a pickup with a Hartford Transfer Station permit, we could use your help! The loads will be free.

We are also looking for round stumps for outside seating, 12-14 stumps, 12-18 inches across and ideally 12-18 inches high. If you have access to anything like this please contact Katie Mann, katiebmann13@gmail.com

Veterans Day

At White River School we honor our veterans for their service to our community and country. This year we will be celebrating Veteran's Day, with Veterans, at the VA!

Thursday, November 10th

Pre-K: Veterans in uniform visit their classroom and read a book then make a drawing

9:00 AM – 11:00 AM: Grades 3 -5

12:00 PM – 2:00 PM: Grades K-2

Friday, November 11th- No School
