Squash Request

It has long been the tradition at White River School that new staff members smash a Hubbard Squash in preparation of the whole School Thanksgiving feast. The smashed pieces are picked up by 2nd grade and cooked up to be enjoyed by all. Our Hubbard Squash hook up fell apart and we are in need of 8 Hubbard Squashes. Please let us know if you'd be willing to donate one or two for our feastivities (We've seen them for sale at Shaw's and Edgewater Farms)

Affinity Group Reminder:

Our next affinity group meeting for families of color will be on Tuesday, October 25th at 6 pm and it will be VIRTUAL. A few families have requested that we alternate between virtual and in-person for accessibility reasons. I am totally happy to do that!

All School Meeting tomorrow morning at 8 AM.

Our next all school meeting is tomorrow morning at 8 AM. We'll be celebrating a few new Hawk-e-mon's and hearing from the PTA about Leaves of Thanks. Please check your child's backpack for more information about this cool whole school project.

All are welcomed to attend our ceremony outside-- we only ask that you wait by the stairs until we are assembled. Hope to see you there.
