Halloween is on Monday, which is great-- but might be a teacher's worst nightmare! (Why can't it always happen on a Saturday? I mean, who decides this stuff?)
We hope everyone has a super good time, but please keep a few things in mind:
Candy is a delicious treat and everyone should enjoy some--but it is not a helpful fuel source for learning. Please limit the candy your child brings to school. They cannot eat candy at snack times--but a piece with lunch is a fun treat once in a while.
We do not have any whole-school Halloween celebrations and so students do not need to wear their costumes to school. 3rd grade is the exception and will be going to the Bugbee Senior Center and will be wearing costumes for that field trip.
This Halloween, please consider collecting for UNICEF if you are going trick or treating. It is simple. Just kindly ask if the person would like to donate to UNICEF and say thank you! The collection boxes will be coming home on Friday. This year you can also donate with a QR code.
All medications brought to school need to be handed from the parent/guardian to the nurse in the original container and must include your child's name, DOB, name of medication and directions for administration. Additionally, a medication administration form needs to be signed for the student's health file. Thank you!
