EL Curriculum Conversation!

Winter Concert
Winter Concert
Unfortunately, our Winter Concert will be virtual this year. Mrs. Wadleigh is hard at work making a video of performances to share with everyone.
The bad news is we won't all be in person for it this year, but the good news is you will all get great seats!
Additionally, we are looking for a parent volunteer to run the recording equipment on Tuesday, December 14th (December 16th is our back up day). CATV will be loaning us their equipment and will train our volunteer the day of on how to use it. If you are available and willing to go through our volunteer background check please let us know. (All adults in the building are also required to be vaccinated and wear masks at all times). You can email kussiusd@hartfordschools.net or call the school. Thanks for your help!
School Board Meeting Next Tuesday
School Board Meeting Next Tuesday
Please take note that next Tuesday, November 23rd, at 6:00 there will be a hybrid School Board Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is called "Community Engagement".
One topic of conversation will be around the idea of creating early release days. While the details aren't worked out, the conversation is about providing teachers and staff more planning time together and this could mean students leave school early once a week. The school board wants to hear from families on this matter as well as teachers.
