Typing Agent Program For Elementary Students
The district has purchased licenses to a keyboarding program called Typing Agent. Licenses are provided to all elementary school students. Typing Agent includes self-paced keyboarding lessons and typing practice for all elementary grade levels. Participation in this program will ensure compliance with the 5th Grade USBE Keyboarding Assessment requirements. More information will be available about the 5th grade keyboarding assessment as the spring approaches. Below, you will find training resources and login instructions for Typing Agent.
Teacher Resources
This 15-minute video walks you through the whole program as a Teacher
First 30 minutes: provides a teacher overview of Typing Agent
Second 30 minutes: demonstrates what the students see in the last half hour.
Logging in to Typing Agent
Students and teachers will use Clever to login to Typing Agent
Teachers’ students should already be assigned to them within Typing Agent
The best way to have students login, is to go through the Granite Portal and search for the Typing Agent tile. Students will already be assigned to their homeroom teacher.
