Important Information About Activating Your Updated Zoom Account

Please check your email for a Zoom Activation Link sent out on Monday, Nov. 30th.  Activate at your convenience.

Teachers/Staff, 

An email invitation from Zoom was sent out on Monday, November 30th with information about activating to an updated version of your Granite Zoom account. 

The activation link will move your account to a locally managed service. The new accounts will give us some additional security features like being able to require students to sign-in with their Google accounts to join meetings. This is an optional setting that teachers can toggle on and off. 

If you haven't had a chance to click on the activation link yet, it's okay. You can do this when you're ready. 

Important Note: Personal meeting room URLs will change. You will need to update your links if you have a Zoom meeting room link posted anywhere or have sent out a link to a scheduled meeting once you activate the new account.
