Granite School District held its annual Lego League Qualifier event at Granger High School on Saturday, February 25th 2023. Planners, coaches, many volunteers and some very enthusiastic students came together not only to test out their coding and robotics skills, but to also demonstrate what they have learned about team work. See some of the event highlights below.
This year, Granite had 26 teams with nearly 240 students participating in the qualifier event. 8 teams advanced to the state tournament that was held in Weber on March 4th. Those teams were:

Michelle Reed, Jefferson Jr. Library Technology Coach, was awarded with an Outstanding Coach & Mentor Award for her help in mentoring, training, and coaching so many teams each year.
Cherie Anderson, District Technology Coach, was recognized with an Outstanding LEGO Leader award for her dedication and support of the LEGO program.
