We’re excited to announce that LanSchool Air just released an exciting new AI feature for LanSchool called “On-Task Monitoring”, and it’s available for you to use today! We encourage you to hop in and give it a try. Instructions are listed below in this post.
How to effectively use On Task Monitoring in your classroom
What is On-Task Monitoring?
On-Task Monitoring is a new tool inside of LanSchool Air that’s designed to revolutionize the way you run your classroom. On-Task Monitoring leverages AI-technology to (1) understand your class learning objective, and (2) determine how on or off task each of your students are in relation to that learning objective.

On-Task Monitoring is extremely simple to use and can be turned on or off at any time. Simply follow these three simple steps or used the attached instructions:
Turn on the feature by clicking on the new On-Task Monitoring button on the tool bar.
Type (or copy and paste) your learning objective for the day into the provided field.
Click Enable.
With On-Task Monitoring running, each of your students will be categorized by how on or off task they are in relation to your class objective, in real time! And, as the teacher, you can filter down to whichever on-task status(es) you want to look at, at any time.
