2020 Lego League District Competition Highlights
After an amazing, research-filled, hard-coding and creative-designing season, the Granite School District Lego League Teams (39 in all) just finished off the year with a fun and exciting qualifying meet at Granger High School on Saturday, January 25th. 12 teams will attend the state championship qualifier on Saturday, February 1st at Weber State University.
With over 50 coaches, and 60 volunteers guiding from the side, the students researched public spaces and designed an innovative improvement. They designed a Lego robot, programmed it to complete three “missions” in 2 1/2 minute runs, and built teams that functioned cooperatively with “gracious professionalism.”
The teams continuing on to the state tournament will be:

The Moss Lego My Eggo and Lords of the Legos teams
West Lake’s STEM Metrocity team
The Arcadia Master Builders and Lego Engineers
Penn Elementary’s Constructores de cuidad Penn and The Builders
