Granite District Staff have a Halo/Tech Help icon on their district computer desktop.
There are also links to the same place from the Focus login page or on the Focus Dashboard Quick Links.
The direct link to get to the same place is: techhelp.graniteschools.org
Use this link to do any of the following:
Get to Employee Resources such as paycheck information, web email, reset your password and many other common apps that employees use
Report a district technology outage or service disruption
Help Articles: Find Focus help docs and videos as well as help docs and videos for many technology questions and troubleshooting tips
Incident Tickets: Report a technology issue
Request a Service: This is a ticket type for requesting help with a service or program
My Tickets: Track the tickets you've opened
Web Service Status: See the status of many of the web applications the district uses
This is the first screen you'll see when clicking on the Halo/Tech Help icon or by going to techhelp.graniteschools.org
Halo/TechHelp Tickets help everyone involved by:
Recording the details of the issue or request by all parties involved
Records the time and date of the request for help
Allows the ticket to be escalated or reassigned to the correct support group with all the details and troubleshooting that's been done
Allows the tech support groups to easily view, track and prioritize the needs
Tech Support groups can sometimes fix an issue remotely or share a help doc when they are not on site
Halo/Tech Help Articles
There are many self help articles with step by step instructions and sometimes with videos. A few example areas are shown in the screenshot. When you visit the Help Articles at: techhelp.graniteschools.org, each topic expands to view specific help docs in that area. Some commonly used help docs include those for Focus, Windows questions, printers and Chromebooks.
This is a great place to learn and find immediate answers to some common questions and issues.
The Search feature is very helpful if you are not finding what you are looking for.
