Class sizes vary across grade levels, with the smallest classes reserved for both the youngest learners and the older students participating in the IB Diploma Programme.

Classes should generally not exceed the following limits:

• First Steps and Pre-Primary: 16

• Primary and Grade 1: 18

• Grade 2 to Grade 10: 22

• IB Diploma Standard Level Courses: 20

• IB Diploma Higher Level Courses: 18

Classes for beginning language learners should not exceed 18, and for English Language Acquisition should not exceed 12.

Exceptional circumstances (subject to the approval of the Head of School) may occasionally require that classes be larger than the maximums stated above.
