FIS shall provide students with a fully accredited educational experience that meets or exceeds the standards of the New England Association of Schools & Colleges (“NEASC”) and the International Baccalaureate Organization (“IB”).

The school is a founding IB World School that participates in the International Baccalaureate (“IB”) Diploma Programme (“DP”) and the Primary Years Programme (“PYP”) and shall continue to develop these programs as fully as possible to meet the needs of the students, and to fulfill the school’s mission.The school shall administer all appropriate IB assessments as instructed by the IB Organization.
