FIS is committed to providing a safe environment for the whole school community and in particular to safeguarding the welfare of its students in accordance with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and German law.
The Head of School or designee shall oversee the development, implementation, and annual review of safeguarding regulations and procedures that uphold the right of every child to be protected from harm, abuse and exploitation. Such practices shall align with the child protection expectations of the International Task Force on Child Protection and shall be described in detail in the school’s Child Safeguarding Handbook.
All employees, contractors, volunteers and visitors share responsibility for the safety and protection of students/children enrolled or on campus.
