Service learning shall comprise an essential element of the school curriculum. All service learning projects shall be consistent with the school mission and provide social benefits that clearly justify any associated costs. All student-led fundraising should be designed to benefit the project and not to reduce the cost to the individual participants. Fundraising to cover travel costs is not permitted without express permission of the Head of School. The Administration shall continually review the existing and proposed service learning projects to ensure conformity with the school’s mission and the service learning rubric.
