Partnership Program
FIS receives premium payments from certain corporations or organizations that have been approved by the Head of School and the Board of Trustees to participate in the Partnership Program which reserves admissions capacity for a limited number of employee dependents as outlined in the Partnership Program contract. Corporations or organizations in the Partnership Program must comply with the stipulations outlined in the Partnership Program contract.
Government Subsidies
FIS receives annual subsidies from the State of Hesse for the school’s First Steps to Primary programs. FIS also receives other contributions from school-affiliated institutions to support certain projects, facility expenses, meeting costs, or funding needs.
FIS Foundation
FIS is entitled to receive disbursements from the FIS Foundation in accordance with the Articles of the Foundation and upon approval by the Supervisory Board.
Annual Fund and Capital Campaign
FIS receives additional funding from the Annual Fund and contributions to Capital Campaigns. The Annual Fund consists of contributions made by the school’s community including parents, employees, and alumni in response to an annual solicitation for donations. The Annual Fund donor may designate a specific use of the donated funds or make an unrestricted gift to the school. Designations of a specific use include: Student Scholarship support, Tuition Reduction Program (TRP), Endowment Fund support through the FIS Foundation, and an unrestricted giving option that allows FIS to direct the funds most appropriately.
FIS may receive additional funding from contributions to a Capital Campaign, in addition to its Annual Fund solicitation, to support the construction or improvement of FIS facilities or a significant program enhancement. A Capital Campaign is a fundraising initiative for capital projects generally spanning three to five years and typically includes soliciting funds from both FIS and the business community.
