The school shall offer a broad, balanced range of extra-curricular activities for students in order to provide active, creative, and other learning opportunities beyond the regular curriculum.

In addition to school-based extracurricular activities, FIS offers additional activities for students and adults through the REAL (Recreation, Enrichment and Learning) program. The program is operated via the Frankfurter Gesellschaft zur Förderung von Bildung und Erziehung mbH. Programs managed through REAL are established with approval from the Head of School. Any income from the self-funding program shall be used to supplement designated educational programs.
