12/12 Finish reading The Odyssey. Finish the Romance Genre assignment if you didn’t get it finished in class. Look through the study questions for the final exam. Mark the ones you need help on.
Friday
12/13 Study for your final exam. Finish the study questions for the final exam on The Odyssey.
Monday
12/16 Study for the final exam in English. Work on your outline for the essay portion of the exam. Study the study questions. Complete the Cornell Book Notes assignment. Go through all of your sticky notes in your Odyssey book and pick out the 7-8 most important quotations. Write down each quotation in the left-hand column. Write down a summary of your notes from the stickies in the right-hand column.
Tuesday
12/17 Finish studying for the final exam in English. Go through your Cornell Notes and the Study Questions. Make sure your outline for the essay portion is complete and you’ve written a good thesis statement. Be sure to get your outline and thesis statement approved by me before the final exam on Thursday.

5/1 Based on the writing notes, my comments, and your own ideas, write a final draft of your poetry essay. Due Wednesday.
Tuesday
5/2 After you’ve made all the major changes to the content in your final draft, read through your essay aloud and write a final, final draft. Make sure your writing is clear, deep, and well supported. Hand in all three drafts in class tomorrow.

Tuesday
11/8 Finish the final draft of your Antigone essay. Make sure that you read your entire essay aloud after you’ve made all the major content changes. Please run the grammar check and fix all grammar and spelling errors. Read through your final draft several times to make sure you have just the right verbs, your writing is smooth and clear, and that you’ve improved your sentence variety and MAV. Due tomorrow.

Tuesday
9/13 Finish the final draft of your comparison essay. Once you’ve made all the major changes to your essay, read it aloud and make any necessary corrections. Please run the grammar check and fix any additional grammar errors (set your commas to go inside the quotation marks and set the checker to look for passive voice).
Wednesday
9/14 Make flash cards for vocabulary #2 and start studying for the quiz (the quiz will be on Friday). Complete the introduction to The Odyssey.
Thursday
9/15 Read to page 15 in The Odyssey. Read carefully and annotate so that you’re read for a quiz tomorrow. Finish studying for vocabulary quiz #2.
