Monday12/6 Complete the Act III Analysis on Google Classroom. Don’t forget to attend the make-up session at 5:00 today (in person or on Zoom). We won’t be able to finish reading the play on time if we don’t read extra today. Tuesday12/7 Watch Acts III and IV of The Crucible—I’ll post the times to the Google Classroom assignment. Finish the end of the book questions if you didn’t finish in class. Wednesday12/8 Finish the passage analysis timed writing we worked on in class today. Work on the Take-Home Exam for The Crucible. Thursday12/9 Complete the book notes assignment for The Water Dancer and Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass. Friday12/10 Complete the book notes assignment for The Crucible and The Scarlet Letter. Work on the Take-Home Exam for The Crucible. Monday12/13 Work on the Take-Home Exam for The Crucible. Due Wednesday or Thursday. Tuesday12/14 Finish studying for your English final. Review your book notes. Look at your practice timed writings. Wednesday12/15 Finish the Take-Home Exam for The Crucible. Due tomorrow by the end of the school day.Week 15
Monday11/29 Work on the final draft of your Scarlet Letter essay. Based on the writing notes, my comments, and your own ideas, revise your essay. Due Thursday at the beginning of the period. Finish reading your IR book and sign up for an IR test on Tuesday or Wednesday. Tuesday11/30 Quotation Reflection #2: Choose two interesting quotations from the reading today and reflect on each in detail. Write more than a half page on each. Wednesday12/1 Finish the final draft of your Scarlet Letter essay. After you’ve made all the major changes to your essay, be sure to read your essay aloud and make more edits. Due at the beginning of the period on Thursday. Thursday12/2 Complete the Act III Analysis assignment on Google Classroom. Friday12/3 Quotation Reflection #3: Choose two interesting quotations from the reading today or yesterday and reflect on each in detail. Write more than a half page on each.
