Due Monday. Practice reciting your poem if you haven’t gone yet. Friday12/10 Complete the practice poetry exam. Complete your outline for the essay portion of the final exam. Both are due Monday. Practice reciting your poem if you haven’t recited it yet. Monday12/13 Study for the English Final: make sure your outline is ready, practice poetry terms (make flash cards), go over the practice exam. Practice reciting your poem if you haven’t gone yet. Week 15

Monday11/29 Read the poem, “APO” and complete a think write on it. The detailed directions are on Google Classroom. Tuesday11/30 Based on the writing notes, my comments, the writing rubric, and your own ideas, write a final draft of your Crucible essay. It’s due at the beginning of the period Thursday. Wednesday12/1 After you’ve made all the major changes, read your essay aloud and make additional changes. Make sure your essay shows your best work. Final drafts are due at the beginning of the period tomorrow. Thursday12/2 Finish reading your IR book and sign up for an IR test for Friday or Monday. Friday12/3 Complete the poetry terms assignment. Finish your IR book if you have not done so already.
