Tuesday
12/13 Work on the Practice Poetry Exam. Due Thursday.
Wednesday
12/14 Finish the Practice Poetry Exam.
Thursday
12/15 Finish your outline for the essay portion of the Final Exam.
Friday
12/16 Study your poetry terms for the Final Exam. The Final is on Monday, December 19th.
Week 16
Monday
12/5 Based on the writing notes, my comments, the writing rubric, and your own ideas, write a final draft of your Book Thief essay. Due Wednesday. Sign up for an IR test this week. All IR tests are due by Friday, December 9.
Tuesday
12/6 After you’ve made all the major content changes to your Book Thief essay, read it aloud and make the final revisions. Evaluation your essay on the writing rubric and complete the writing reflection. Hand everything in during the first 5-10 minutes of class tomorrow.
Wednesday
12/7 Finish answering the questions on the poem, “Knock, Knock.”
Thursday
12/8 Choose a poem you’d like to memorize from the Poetry Out Loud website. Be sure to choose a poem that you like and that is the right length for the time that you have.
Friday
12/9 Start memorizing your poem.
