Monday
2/11 Finish reading the articles for the Honor Codes performance task. Finish reading your IR book. If you’re reading more than one IR book, you need to finish it by tomorrow.
Tuesday
2/12 Work on your performance task essay. Write at least the first two paragraphs. We'll finish the essays in class tomorrow.
Wednesday
2/13 Finish writing your performance task essay if you didn’t finish it in class today. Due Thursday.
Thursday
2/14 Watch the Elie Wiesel video about indifference. Complete a think write about indifference and why it matters.
Friday
2/15 Read in your IR book. All third quarter book tests are due by Tuesday March 9. Enjoy the break.
Week 18
Tuesday
1/3 Finish reading and annotating your practice Performance Task articles if you have not done so already. Answer the research questions.
Wednesday
1/4 Finish your practice Performance Task essay (first three paragraphs) if you have not done so already. Please hand this in on Google Classroom (the earlier the better).
Thursday
1/5 Choose a poem to memorize from the Poetry Out Loud web page and print it out. Bring it to class tomorrow. Work on memorizing your poem. We will practice reciting them in class on Monday. The final performance will be next week.
Friday
1/6 Read in your IR book and decide what you want to focus on for your speech. The two topics this year are: The Power of Perseverance or Does Love Conquer Hate?
