Choose a memorable event from your childhood and write a descriptive narrative about it. Be sure to use the five senses, dialogue, detailed description of actions, body language, emotions, etc. in order to recreate the event for your audience. Select a short event that you can remember in detail so that you can write a focused, descriptive piece. As your conclusion, reflect back on how this event has formed part of who you are today. You may use poetic license and add in some details as necessary, however. Your narrative should be at least one and a half pages (typed), but try to write more. If you're stuck, look at the student model.
