5/9 Complete book notes on The Woman Warrior and All the Pretty Horses if you have not done so already. Review your first semester book notes. Enter your multiple choice answers on AP Classroom and go over the ones you missed (if you have not done so already). Relax and get a good night sleep so you’re ready for the exam tomorrow.

If you can complete the timed writing in my classroom during a study hall period, or after school, please do so. Otherwise, complete it at home in a quiet place and time yourself as you handwrite the essay. Tuesday5/3 Complete the passage analysis timed writing tonight for homework. Time yourself and spend between 35 - 40 minutes. Write your exact time at the top. If you can complete the timed writing in my classroom during a study hall period, or after school, please do so. Otherwise, complete it at home in a quiet place and time yourself as you handwrite the essay. Wednesday5/4 Complete the image analysis assignment on Google Classroom. Thursday5/5 Complete the thesis point assignment and the chunking assignment on Google Classroom. Friday5/6 Practice exam tomorrow (8:00 – 11:30). This is one half of your final exam grade. If you do much better on this exam, you can replace your Friday exam grade with this one. Review your book notes from first semester. Monday
5/7 Take a full, timed practice multiple choice exam in my room (4:45 to 5:45). If you cannot take the exam at that time, please talk to me about other options (2:20 – 3:20 is a possibility). Study terms.
Tuesday
5/8 Complete a full, handwritten timed writing (rhetorical analysis). I recommend that you do this in my room with me timing you, but you may do it on your own if that works better for you. Review your book notes and terms.
Wednesday
5/9 Complete a full, handwritten timed writing (agree/disagree). I recommend that you do this in my room with me timing you, but you may do it on your own if that works better for you.
Thursday
5/10 Start on your writing portfolio, due next Friday. Choose a piece of writing to submit to Calliope, due next Friday.

5/11 Complete the recognizing terms assignment before Monday. Remember to come in for the full, practice exam on Saturday, May 12th (morning).

4/30 C+R: Finish the practice multiple choice exam. Please come to my room when convenient so that you can finish in class—the exam is not allowed outside my room. K + I: Finish your poetry timed writing.

5/1 Optional for S: Finish the next practice multiple choice exam. Please come to my room when convenient so that you can finish in class—the exam is not allowed outside my room.
Wednesday
5/2 Complete the timed writing: rhetorical analysis. Please come to my class at your convenience for a timed, authentic experience.
Thursday
5/3 Complete the book notes for All the Pretty Horses and The Woman Warrior.
Friday
5/4 Complete the practice timed writing (rhetorical analysis on the passage by Rachel Carson). Work on studying terms and your book notes to prepare for the AP exam.
Final Exam: April 29 and May 7
