Monday10/10 Finish the second draft of your character analysis on Squeaky. Finish your IR book if you have not done so already and sign up for an IR test today or tomorrow. Tuesday10/11 Finish your mini outline for your technology in schools essay and remember to show up for your IR test in person or on Zoom. Wednesday10/12 If you didn’t finish your technology in schools essay today in class, finish it tonight. Thursday10/13 Based on the writing notes, my suggestions, the rubric, and your own ideas, revise your character analysis on Squeaky. Make signification changes and ask for help if you need it. Final drafts are due on Monday, October 17. Friday10/14 Choose a new IR book. Start reading. Second Quarter IR books are due by November 10 and December 9. Work some on your final draft if necessary, but you will have time in class on Monday to do a final read-through of your essay.Week 8
Monday10/3 Finish your character map for Squeaky in “Raymond’s Run.” Tuesday10/4 Work on the first draft of your character analysis essay on “Raymond’s Run.” Wednesday10/5 Finish writing the first draft of your character analysis essay on “Raymond’s Run.” Make sure you’ve followed the outline and have clear topic sentences with the traits and good evidence. Thursday10/6 Work on the second draft of your character analysis and finish reading your IR book. No school tomorrow. Friday10/7 Finish reading your IR book. All first quarter IR book tests are due by October 11.Week 7
