Due to the group aspect of this course, business studies is not ideal for trade students unless they plan on becoming a sole trader. Ideally you would have taken commerce, economics or business studies before; however, it is not a requirement. This course is set out so that students can easily pick up new content.
This course involves the creation of a real business using real money. Students will be expected to provide their own start-up capital for their business. However, there is real potential for students to also earn money depending on the success of the business.
