MUT -  Music Technology

Compose / write songs in Garageband or Sountrap . Learn how to download your favourite Music into STEMS and extend it. Learn how to compose Music for certain circumstances such as a cafe or an Action film, using either your device or a midi DAW.(Digital Audio Workstation) 

A small amount of theory is required to work on Noteflight software. This is done in class time. If you play an instrument you will get to practice, if you wish.

Music is a “skill” for the Duke of Edinburgh Hillary Award- develops whole brain learning and is often self-paced.

Completing MusP and MusT is a great way to ensure success in Level One Music, but taking one of these is also a good base.  Talk to Mrs Forsyth if you have questions.
