There are so many classic sitcom couples. From Jim and Pam to Monica and Chandler, the sitcom universe is filled with bad people who somehow fell in love! If each universe crossed, I think there are many couples waiting to happen.
Nick Miller (New Girl) and Sweet Dee Reynolds (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia). Nick and Dee both work at bars, have snappy comebacks, and are openly mean to people. I think their relationship would be filled with healthy berating, alcoholism, and many other romantic qualities.
Phoebe Buffay (Friends) and Cosmo Kramer (Seinfeld). I don’t want to call them weird, but I will say that they both probably sat alone at lunch. I think these two would perfectly compliment each other's many, many, many quirks and faults. Many. There would never be a dull moment, and Kramer could play tambourine for Smelly Cat.
Amy Santiago (Brooklyn Nine-Nine) and Chris Traeger (Parks and Recreation). Let’s be real. I don’t know if they would work well together. I just hate them both and feel as though they should suffer and rot in each other's presence as much as possible.
Mitchell Pritchett (Modern Family) and Oscar Nunez (The Office) Mitchell and Oscar are both very sassy and particular people. Not annoying, but irritating. They’d be able to put up with each other and throw a killer tea party without staining a fancy 3000 dollar designer couch.
Larry David (Curb Your Enthusiasm) and Jack Donaghy (30 Rock). I felt like I should have one rivalry in here, since the world is filled with too much love nowadays. Larry and Jack both have ego’s that could be on “My 600 Pound Life”. They would constantly compete to see who’s smarter and better. EVERYTHING would end in a moral debate.
Barney Stintson (How I Met Your Mother) and Annie Edison (Community). These two characters both have some selfishness but also a decent amount of understanding. Barney is very charming and manipulative and Annie Edison is naïve and perfectly willing to have her life ruined by manipulation! Perfect match!
Frasier Crane (Frasier) and Frasier Crane (Cheers). This is the best working match and here’s why. Frasier loves himself and his own views of the world. He wouldn’t want to be with someone who disagrees with what he knows is right, so with Frasier, he wouldn’t have to! He could happily spend the left of his life at peace with the person he loves most.
