CAROLINE CASIERI
This winter, the CHHS students and staff are performing Annie the Musical! Annie, takes place December of 1933 in a depression-ridden New York City. Annie follows the story of 11 year-old orphan Annie whose adventures in the Big Apple showcase her humble, optimistic, and caring qualities. Annie’s character is famous for her spunk and determination to find her parents who left her at an orphanage in 1922. Featuring songs like Maybe, Tomorrow, and Hard Knock Life, Annie is a classic tale of struggle, finding joy in a bad situation, and caring for the less fortunate.
