As the new school year starts, hopes are high and excitement is in the air. With the start of a new year come class elections. However, the freshmen elections are under threat. Since there were only a few applications to fill the five positions, freshmen risk missing out on representation in student government. So far, only five freshmen have put in their names to run for student government: Savannah Capelli, John Erskien, Sebastian Nesis, Ariella Soltren, and Hudson Villeneuve. Will the freshmen even have enough members of congress to fill the five spots? Or will the class of 2023 be the first class without representation in student government?
