MACHINE RESERVATIONS 

These machines will be reserved for instructional use during the listed dates and times:

Note: No usage of the machine is allowed during the listed reserved time block unless members are in the specified course section. Failure to comply with these reservations can result in a loss of access to the DCI Lab.

Status of Brother Embroidery Machines 

The multi-thread (Agatha) and single-thread (Pearl) embroidery machines, alongside our sewing machine, are currently receiving service.

• There is no set date for the return of our Brother Embroidery Machines. 

Note: We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to your planned embroidery projects. However, heat transfer press and dye sublimation are great alternatives for adding graphics to clothing, tote bags, and more.

Status of Laser Machines

All three of our laser machines are available for use! This includes: left laser, right laser, and small laser.

Please ensure you have taken the proper quizzes in order to utilize these machines. 

To use the laser cutters you must pass the manufacturing lab safety quiz as well as the laser cutter canvas quiz. The quiz references this page, the First Cut Tutorial, and the Picking a Laser page. Once you pass the canvas quiz with 100%, you must demonstrate to a staff member that you know how to use the equipment on your first job.
