MACHINE RESERVATIONS 

These machines will be reserved for instructional use during the listed dates and times:

Note: No usage of the machine is allowed during the listed reserved time block unless members are in the specified course section. Failure to comply with these reservations can result in a loss of access to the DCI Lab.

Status of Brother Embroidery Machines 

The multi-thread (Agatha), single-thread (Pearl) embroidery machines, and our sewing machine ARE BACK!!

Please ensure you have taken the proper quizzes in order to utilize these machines. 

To use the embroidery machines you must pass the embroidery/sewing quiz. Once you pass the canvas quiz with 100%, you must demonstrate to a staff member that you know how to use the equipment on your first job.

Status of Laser Machines

Currently, our only laser machine available is our left laser.

Please ensure you have taken the proper quizzes in order to utilize this machine. 

To use the laser cutters you must pass the manufacturing lab safety quiz as well as the laser cutter canvas quiz. The quiz references this page, the First Cut Tutorial, and the Picking a Laser page. Once you pass the canvas quiz with 100%, you must demonstrate to a staff member that you know how to use the equipment on your first job.
