Depending on what you are trying to create and what machine you intend to use, you will most likely want to use a specific software to either edit or create your own design.

A free program for students and teachers. Great for cutting models into multiple parts based on planes (X,Y,Z)

A free program to edit models, adjust the surface, cut the model into multiple parts, etc

2D Software

A vector based program. Great for creating cut lines when laser cutting or creating stickers. Or your own vector based art!

Great for editing photos, creating digital illustrations, etc.. Raster based program.

Program to create raster graphics. Beginner friendly!
