Never grasp moving components when the system is operating.
This system has many exposed heaters so please ensure you know which parts get hot during operation and avoid touching or getting close to those heaters.

Always get a staff member's approval before operating the machine.
You must get approval before bringing in any materials not provided by the makerspace.

Please follow the rework guide to learn how to use the machine. First projects on the rework station must be supervised by staff.
How does it work?
The Martin Expert 10.6 is a high end rework station that allows users to remove soldered components from a printed circuit board (PCB). It can remove single surface mounted components without damaging the rest of the PCB, even integrated circuits (ICs) with pads underneath the chip like those with BGA packages.
