Grab the ring that will support your design.
Place a sheet of stabilizer over the outer ring. It should overlap the sides of the ring.
Then place fabric over the stabilizer. It should overlap the sides of the ring as well.
Place the top/inner ring over the fabric and push down. If it is too hard to push down, try loosening the screw.
Once the ring is completely pushed down, tighten the screw.
Use a flat head screwdriver to tighten further if the outer ring can be easily removed.
The stabilizer and fabric needs to be taut. If either is too loose the machine may not stitch properly.
To Tighten Fabric
Pull the sides of the fabric and stabilizer, gently, to create tension between the top and outer ring.
Always ask a staff member for help if you are unsure how taut the fabric should be.
On the left side of the machine. There are two grey knobs, loosen them to slide the arm over. Making room for the embroidery ring.
Slide the U shaped slot of the embroidery ring onto the pin of the frame.
Rotate the embroidery ring and slide the metal arm under the clip.
Slide arm over to lock right side of embroidery ring into place. Place the circle slot of the embroidery ring into the pin, making sure the metal arm is slid under the clip.
Once embroidery ring is secured on both sides, tighten the grey knobs on the left side of the machine.
Embroidery ring installed!
Turn the power on.
*if machine is off*
The power switch is located near the back right hand side of the machine.
Selecting a Design:
You can select a pre-made design, create a text based design using the Touch screen panel, or upload a design from a USB
Once a design is selected, you can edit the size, placement, rotation, among other things from this screen.
When you're happy with the above adjustments select "Edit End" in the bottom right side of the screen.
In this menu you can make a few other adjustments including scanning the fabric.
In most cases you can select the "Embroidery" button on the bottom right and continue without making any changes.
If there are different colors installed than what's needed in the design. There will be a prompt alerting you to change the threads selected for the colors missing.
Ask a staff member to change threads if needed
Reassigning Colors:
Select the button that's highlighted below
To reassign a color to another needle. Select two colors to swap them like the example above.
Once the colors are selected click the button highlighted below change the colors.
Once all colors are reassigned, press the red Lock button
This is will change the arrow underneath to green, allowing you to start your embroidery job.
To start your embroidery job press the Green Arrow.
The arrow must be green for it to start. If you are having issues please ask a staff member for help.
The machine will start automatically.
It will change between colors automatically until finished
Finished!
Remove the embroidery ring from the machine by loosening the grey knobs
Unclip the right arm from the frame and slowly slide the embroidery ring to the left.
Rotate the left side of the embroidery ring out to remove it from the machine.
Loosen the ring by twisting the screw towards you.
Lift the top ring off and remove the finished design.
Pull the stabilizer off the back of the design.
