Roland Vinyl Printer-Cutter
Safety
While the vinyl printer-cutter is a very safe machine, there are a couple things to be aware of when using this equipment.
The vinyl printer-cutter has a heater to dry the ink in front of the door, so be careful because it can get warm.
As with any machine with moving parts there is a danger of getting your fingers jammed when the motors are moving, so please be careful not to obstruct the print head with your hands while it is moving.
Rules
As a reminder, you are not permitted to sell anything made on the equipment in the space.
If you want to bring in a new media (paper) to print on, please get staff approval first.
Ask staff if you want a different media to be put in the printer-cutter.
The max single print time is 30 min. Longer prints will have to be split into multiples and may not be printed consecutively if there is a queue.

How does it work and what can I make?
The Roland TrueVis SG2-300 is very similar to a typical office paper printer except that it can print on a much wider variety of materials or media. Additionally, this machine has a small blade that it uses to cut through the top layer of media.
With this piece of equipment, you can make regular stickers, wall stickers, window stickers, posters, iron-on material for t-shirts, and much more!
