If you want to check to see if a link you want your students to visit will be blocked by the Lightspeed Filter, use the Lightspeed AccessScan Agent. It has been added to your Google Chrome Extensions, and will tell you if the site or video is allowed or blocked.
To use the AccessScan Agent, click the light blue hyperlink icon in extension bar of your Chrome Browser (you must be signed in with your Google Account). Enter any student's email address, and click "Scan page."
If you need a site allowed or blocked, create a ticket in IncidentIQ (see below).
If you find a site that needs allowed, or a site that needs blocked, fill out a ticket in IncidentIQ:

Just because a website is unblocked, doesn't mean students will be able to sign into it with their accounts. All websites that require student accounts (both for signing in with Google and when students create accounts) need to be checked by the Curriculum Department and the Technology Department.
If you want your students to sign in to a website, you have to fill out our approval request form.
Edpuzzle is a great tool for adding questions to YouTube videos. However, they can cause frustration if the YouTube video itself isn't unblocked.
Unfortunately, teachers cannot simply share their Edpuzzle link with tech support. Since we are not students in your Edpuzzle classes, we do not have access to the assignments.
Please find the video on YouTube and provide that link to be unblocked (see how to the right).
Or us the "Share preview" option in Edpuzzle with us:
To find the video link, you could right-click on the video in your Edpuzzle and choose to copy the video URL:
https://www.youtubeeducation.com/watch?v=h6Cat4ZQmcE
By removing the word "education," you are left with the actual Youtube link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h6Cat4ZQmcE
As a teacher, you can create a playlist and share the playlist link with us. Then, any videos you add to your playlist will be automatically unblocked for your students if you share with them the video link from your playlist. Find out more information and how to do this here.
Teacher permissions are different from students. If you visit a website and receive the error on the LEFT, the Lightspeed Agent failed and your computer needs to be shut down completely and turned back on.
If you get the screen on the RIGHT, the site is blocked for teachers. If you believe this site should be unblocked, request it to be allowed (see above).
