Vocaroo is a free, easy to use audio recorder for students and teachers. Once finished, you can download your recording, share it via a link, or even get an embed code to add it to a website. This is a great way to have students record their thoughts, create a podcast, or give feedback.

Step 1: Visit Vocaroo.com
Step 2: With your script ready, hit the red record button and record your audio.
The first time you use it, you will need to grant access to your microphone. When prompted, click "Allow"
Step 3: While recording, you can pause to gather your thoughts.
Step 4: When finished, click the stop button.
Step 5: Here you can preview, and if you choose, re-record your audio clip.
Step 6: When done, click "Save & Share."
Step 7: You audio file is saved on Vocaroo with a direct link that can be shared. But you could also choose to download the file, or even get the embed code to add it Google Sites.
Step 8: You can embed your audio file into Google Sites.
Copy your embed code
On Google Sites under Insert, choose "Embed"
Choose "Embed Code"
Paste your embed code
Click "Next"
Your recording in now available for people to listen to right within your Google Site!
